Whether you aspire to compete in show jumping, dressage, eventing, or just want a best friend to have fun with and hack, The Coasters Stud is your gateway to obtaining a remarkable sport horse partner. We understand the unique requirements of each discipline and strive to match our clients with the right stallion that possess the ideal combination of talent, temperament, and potential.
Stallions at stud
We have a selection of lovely natured stallions ranging from 14.2hh to 18hh. All of our stallions are available nationwide via fresh chilled semen. Our core business is Homozygous coloured stallions. We have 2 perlino producing 100% Buckskin and Palomino progeny. Two tobiano stallions and we also have our big boy who is purebred Clydesdale. Check out our stallions' individual profiles for more information on them.
Walk in walk out AI
Bring your mare to us in season and we will AI her at the time and you can take her straight home. First round is included in stud fee if you're using our stallions. We can also offer this service to mares for AI to outside stallions.
Fee $150 + GST
On-site artificial insemination (AI)
I am a qualified AI technician and offer AI at our property for your mare. The first round of AI is included in your stud fee. We can also offer this service to mares for AI to outside stallions.
Fee $350 + GST for first round $250 + GST for further rounds
Mare agistment for AI
Full agistment is available for your mare while she is being served and scanned.
Fee $12 + GST Includes balage per day
Mare foaling
We offer a few spaces each season for mare foaling. All mares are monitored and alarmed with the latest Smart Foal alarm system.
Fee $400 + GST
Foal weaning
We offer a limited amount of spaces each year for foal weaning. All our property is fences with horse safe wire, To minimize the risk of injury to both mare and foal.
Fee $250 + GST
Stallion training for AI
We can also train your stallion for AI collection. Cost of this depends on how long it takes the stallion to learn.
Fee $1,000 + GST this includes 1 weeks agistment in secure stallion paddock.
Semen collection + shipping
We offer this service to outside stallions. Bring your stallion for collection and we prepare the semen and ship it for you. This service is available 7 days per week.
Fee $300 + GST
